We treat your information with care and do not sell or rent personal information to external marketers.

Depending on whether you use FidoConnect as a client or a freelancer, we may collect:

• Personal & Contact Details: Name, business name, email address, and phone number or WhatsApp contact where provided.
• Account Credentials: Login identifiers and authentication records (secured via Firebase Authentication).
• Freelancer Skill Profile: Verified service categories (Website, Data Entry, Design, etc.), subcategories, custom tools, and self-introduction/bio.
• Project Information: Project titles, descriptions, requirements, budgets, deadlines, and delivery milestones.
• Project Applications: Freelancer proposal notes, estimated delivery timelines, and application status.
• Assigned Project Data: Coordination records, completion statuses, and agency internal notes.
• Membership & Payment Verification Info: Chosen plan tier, membership validity period, and UPI Transaction IDs / UTR Reference Numbers provided for payment verification.
• Platform Activity: Timestamps of account creation, profile updates, and platform interactions.

We use the collected information exclusively for operational purposes, including:

• Creating and managing user accounts and authentication sessions.
• Verifying freelancer invite codes and onboarding skill profiles.
• Matching eligible freelancers with relevant client project requirements.
• Facilitating proposal reviews, project assignments, and milestone tracking.
• Managing membership validity, plan limits, and renewal notices.
• Manually verifying UPI payment transactions against bank statements.
• Providing responsive customer support and dispute resolution via WhatsApp.
• Preventing fraud, spam, platform misuse, and unauthorized access.
• Improving platform usability and reliability.

5. Payment Verification Process

When a freelancer submits a Transaction ID / UTR for a membership plan, this reference number is manually reviewed by our administrative team to confirm payment receipt before membership access is activated. This information is retained solely for accounting and verification records.

6. How Information Is Shared

We share information only where strictly necessary for operating the service:

• Project Coordination: Relevant project specifications and freelancer profiles are shared between the client, the assigned freelancer, and agency coordinators to complete the project.
• Infrastructure Providers: We use Google Firebase cloud services for secure database storage, hosting, and user authentication under strict cloud security standards.
• Legal Compliance: We may disclose information if required by applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of FidoConnect and its users.

FidoConnect uses standard browser local storage and essential session tokens solely to keep you logged in securely, remember your user preferences, and provide smooth page navigation. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising networks.

We implement industry-standard security practices, including role-based access controls, encrypted database communication (HTTPS/TLS), and Firestore security rules to safeguard your account and platform data from unauthorized access.
